Welcome to my website .

Most pictures you find here are taken from Imagna's Valley (Italy) located at 900 m .
The telescopes are not fixed permanently but moved out of the building or car on clear nights, not all has to be set up for each photographical session.

I got into photography when I was about 20 years old, but i have never photographed the sky until 2013 (I always thought it was too difficult).
I started to read about the wonders and beauty of the night sky. From the first moment since I was inspired by those 'amazing' pictures .
Unfortunately the light coming from celestical objects  is too dim to see their natural colors even if you look through a large apertured telescope.
I therefore aimed to get into astrophotography one day, so I bought a celestron C8 on a Neq6 pro.
I started with visual astronomy which in fact was the better way to begin with.
a few months later, I finally was able to start astrophotography with a Canon 350d modified.
Since 2015 I use a FSQ106 refractor as imaging telescope. It has a very good contrast and is easy to handle. Together with the STF8300M camera, it is a very nice field imaging setup.
Since 2018 i also use a fantastic Takahashi CCA 250 on a Astro-Physics 1100 GTO and in 2019 i decided to approch the CMOS technology with a IMX455 sensor and in 2021 for visual observation i adopted a Takahashi TOA 150B apo refractor.

Since 2022 my "Resegone Observatory" in Imagna's Valley (Italian Alps) is involve in international astronomic research programs.

Enjoy the beauty of night sky
Clear Skies !
